Use Sternberg’s triangular theory of romantic love to describe either a current or past love relationship or one that you know about. Evaluate how the relationship rates on the three couple characteristics. What strategies would you use to improve the relationship?

Regarding dating and mate selection, reflect on a time when your limbic brain took over without engaging your rational brain. Describe the situation and then describe how the outcome of the situation may have changed if you had taken time to deal with the negative emotions from a rational brain perspective.
