The life recovery center is one of the many recoveries based support groups in Indianapolis. The recovery center has four different locations throughout the religion, where it has served the community since 2004. The center specializes in substance abuse treatment, domestic violence, mental health, gambling disorder, and many other disorders and issues. It helps people find freedom and recover by assisting them in winning the battle against disease addictions every day (Walsh et al., 2018). The group aims to help and listen by connecting on a person’s body, mind, and spirit. The organization is committed to helping people find freedom in recovery. In Indianapolis, Indiana its serves individuals and families in Johnson, Hamilton, Hancock, Marion, and the surrounding counties. The center is certified by the Indiana Division of mental health and addiction.

The center provides intensive and regular outpatient and aftercare services for 10-20 weeks, depending on the patient’s needs and the specific program that is recommended. The outpatient programs feature individual therapy, family therapy, and peer recovery coaching, in addition to therapy and counseling support for medication-assisted patients (Quintero, 2017). After completing initial treatment, patients can receive ongoing alumni support with aftercare treatment programs free of charge. Patients have recoded to seeing staffs that sow a lot of compassion and grace to them. Although treatment brings people in for help with alcohol or substance use, it’s a lot more than that as it returns people to normal lives.

The group would be appropriate for a person trying to come out of a certain addiction.
The groups need to match the client’s current needs.
If a client has never been in another group program.
If a person has ever experienced any violence throughout their lifetime.

For a client to participate in the spurts group, there is a need for a thorough assessment to see the client’s needs and desires regarding treatment. The group treatment is most appropriate for an individual is suffering from drug addiction, where the client’s current needs can be matched with the group (Ehrlich et al., 2019). The group can also be most appropriate for any person who has experienced sexual violence or abuse of any kind throughout their lifetime. The support group would also be good for healing and recovering from both body, mind, and soul. The Treatment would help to teach how to live well, living life on life’s terms, and how to find happiness even when life makes it difficult, with a staff that truly wants to see clients succeed.

In alcoholism, The goal of alcoholism treatment is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment (Stern et al, 2017). In mental health and substance abuse, the group professionals help detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track. It also offers intensive support that looks at healing the body, mind, and soul. The substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

The organization also offers multiple treatment and therapy sessions for different individuals (Stern et al, 2017). However, one of its main negative results is the high cost of patient cares since it’s a private institution. The center can be best considered when a person really wants to recover from their addiction problem, and many treatment options have failed. The center is not appropriate when a person does not have enough capital to go through all the therapy sessions.
