I get angry when… 

I don’t eat, and when I don’t sleep

Introduction

Studies shows that Anger results from food and sleep deprivation

· A lack of food and lack of sleep results in anger.

· According to research conducted by Coco et al. (2019) regarding sleep deprivation and the effects it has on human beings, it shows that every amount of sleep we lose negatively impacts our body functionality and moods

· Similarly, another study done by MacCormack & Lindquist (2019), shows that there is an emotional link between hunger and anger.

· Many people will get cranky, angry, and miserable when they do not eat. There is a saying goes that “An angry man is a hungry man,” showing the connection between the two. 

Sleep is essential in the body functioning of human beings.  

· When we sleep, it helps us to adapt to some frustrating situations

· Sleep is an essential component in human life

· A person needs sleep to live and function as it is required

· Seep helps clear out toxins that accumulates n our brains through daily activities making us anxious.  

· Sleep helps one to be more attentive, creative, decisive and thus slow to anger

· Every hour of a person’s sleep counts 

Daily meals are vital in the human body. 

· Daily meals balance the body functionality 

· Hunger creates an uptick of anger and aggression

· The daily meal is a vital component in the life of human beings

· Serotonin is found in the food and it helps in balancing our thoughts and feelings. when it is low, one gets negative thoughts, becomes irritable and feels tense

Inadequate sleep negatively impacts the human body

· Less sleep makes one tired and, as a result, becomes cranky

· A person is unable to adapt to some frustrations

· One becomes less alert  

· A person becomes angrier and responsive

· Losing sleep undermines emotional adaptations to frustrating circumstances

· Lack of sleep make it difficult solving problems, controlling emotions and coping with change

Lack of daily meals is associated with much negativity

· The feelings in a stomach have severe impact on vital body organs like the brains

· Hunger stimulates the body into a fight-or-flight response

· A person becomes more uncomfortable 

· There is a negative body response 

· Hunger is associated with tension and depression

· The hungrier a person becomes, the lower their blood sugar and thus easily angered

· Hunger makes one to be hostile towards self and also to become self deprecating

In conclusion, there are various issues that make me get angry.

· I always get into my lousiest mood when I am hungry and have not had enough sleep.

· When the blood sugar is low, I will always get very unhappy. This is an evolutionary mechanism that is typically designed to make food a priority in our bodies.

· Similarly, sleep quality is a crucial factor that determines if a person is happy or not.

· Getting enough sleep will lead to better health and greater happiness. This explains why I get angry when I do not eat and do not get enough sleep.

·  It is therefore important getting enough sleep and ensuring that I take my daily meals to stay healthy and happy.
