short paper
Analyzing the content of advertisements is helpful in determining if an intended message will be offensive. Search the internet for one print advertisement that you believe is an example of an unethical ad. Answer the following questions for your ad:
- What is the ethical issue within the advertisement? Discuss the problem that you see with the advertisement.
- Do you think this ad was developed to be intentionally unethical? Why or why not?
- Do you think corrective action should be taken by the advertiser? Why or why not?
- Do you think the ad was effective in promoting the product or service? Why or why not?
Be sure to choose a print advertisement for which you can answer all of the questions. Include the chosen print ad with this assignment.
