Psychohistory of Kamala Harris
Complete a psychohistory of Kamala Devi Harris (KDH). Use the GoogleDoc that I uploaded below. Here are the instructions:
1) Complete one Psychohistorical analysis of KDH for one stage.
2) Each student is responsible for being the primary respondent for one (1) stage AND the secondary respondent for one (1) stage. A primary respondent for a stage is the person who completes the psychohistorical analysis for that stage. A secondary respondent for a stage is the person who ‘comes behind’ the primary and ad-libs, corrects and comments on that primary respondent’s analysis. This person is the one who is in charge of ‘quality control’ for that stage.
3) PRIMARY RESPONDENTS: For each stage be sure to provide the following information:
a) Briefly describe 1 or 2 key events or experiences in the life KDH lived during the time frame covered in this stage. Be specific and provide citation and reference info. (e.g., born to an ‘upper middle class’ family; attended school abroad; afforded many luxuries; achieved some very public successes and failures during her career in law; etc.)
b) According to the epigenetic principle, state whether she developed the adaptive or maladaptive trait covered in this stage. Provide support for your answer.
c) Describe the extent to which you feel she developed the related ‘strength’ of that stage.

Instructions: For this assignment, you will work in groups to complete a psychohistory of Kamala Devi Harris (KDH). Specifically, using the gmail account that you provided for me last week, I will email you and your group members with access to the GoogleDoc. Here are your instructions:
1) Each group may not have 8 students, so it is ok if you don’t complete a psychohistorical analysis of KDH for each applicable stage. While your group may not necessarily complete all 8 stages, each student can complete 100% of his/her individual assignment.
2) Each student is responsible for being the primary respondent for one (1) stage AND the secondary respondent for one (1) stage. 3) Please note that groups don’t have to complete the stages in order. For instance, if your group only has 5 people, your group members may choose to respond to stages 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8.

5) SECONDARY RESPONDENTS: Remember that it’s your job to provide ‘quality control’. So, be sure to ad-lib, correct, and comment on that person’s analysis, ok?
Grading will focus on your analysis of KDH for the primary stage that you chose and how well you ‘ensured’ the quality on the secondary stage that you chose. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE ELEVENTH HOUR TO COMPLETE THIS ASSIGNMENT. DOING SO WILL HAMPER YOUR CLASSMATE’S ABILITY TO COMPLETE THE SECOND 1/2 OF THEIR WORK (i.e., their secondary analysis).
