ONE:

The Immigration Reform and Control Act apply to my current employer. The reason is that the employer does not agree to employ unauthorized immigrants. As a result, only authorized immigrants are hired.  The consequence of an employer hiring an unauthorized alien is that he might face criminal charges. The employer may also face up to six months in prison.  It is because they would have violated immigration law.  This law is essential in protecting companies from hiring criminals. For instance, an unauthorized immigrant may escape with company properties. As a result, it leads to losses to the employer.  I believe that the economy does not have a shortage of skilled workers. The issue is the hiring process. Thus, rise of corruption leads to employed of the inexperienced person leaving behind the skilled ones.

TWO:

The Immigration Reform and Control Act (ICRA) applies to my current employer since they do not employ unauthorized immigrants.  This is done when employers have every employee complete INS Form, I-9.  Not completing this requirement will result in the termination of the employee. Since it is illegal for any employer to hire foreign workers who are not legally permitted to work in the U.S., violating this law can mean extra fines and up to six months in jail.
