. Study Aquinas’ five “ways” of demonstrating God’s existence in the learning resources then engage in the study of ontology by examining your belief in God:
Answer the question: Does God really exist?
Use Aquinas and your own reasoning in your argument.

Examine Aquinas’ five “ways” of demonstrating God’s existence then reflect on them in the light of your own religious tradition, or your lack of religious belief.
Answer the question: Which of Aquinas’ five “ways” best aligns with your religious belief, or best convinces you of your non-belief.
Use your knowledge of Aquinas and your own reasoning in your argument.

The “Problem of Evil”:
In Article 3 of our Summa reading, Aquinas reprises the “Problem of evil” objection to God’s existence: If God is omnibenevolent, omniscient and omnipotent, then the existence of evil in the world would seem to be an argument for his non-existence. Examine this theological problem.
Answer the question: Does the existence of evil in the world prove that God doesn’t exist?
Use Aquinas and your reasoning in your argument.
