The Interview
Instruction: Find and introduce yourself to an entrepreneur (please recall the different types of entrepreneurs we discussed in class). Ask for at least 20 minutes of their time and ask the following questions:
· Tell me the story of how you became an entrepreneur
· What motivated you to become an entrepreneur?
· What worried you the most as you started your business?
· What excited you the most about starting your business?
· What resources did you use to start? Where did they come from?
· What moments do you remember most?
· Who helped you most along the way?
· How do you describe yourself to others?
· The extent to which they engaged in preliminary planning (i.e., primary/secondary research, etc.)
· What advice they have for you as students of entrepreneurship?
Prepare a 2-3-page paper based on your conversation with the entrepreneur
