The essay should explain pro and cons of Monopoly in vaccine market while arguing competitive vaccine market would be better option.

Theses statement –
Vaccine markets are likely to reach equilibrium with only one or at most a few suppliers of vaccine but subsidizing and putting price cap on vaccines in a competitive market leads to socially optimum consumption by reducing externalities, less exploitation of consumers’ willingness to pay and less shortage.
