Dissemination of information such as the EBP change proposal is a way of sharing knowledge and receiving feedback to improve future change projects. My EBP change proposal is on nurses’ satisfaction and turnover rate relating to physicians’ relationships in the surgical/trauma department of a major hospital in the US.
One professional journal I would love to present such an EBP change proposal is the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN). Such a journal publishes issues relating to surgery and trauma as a way to improve nursing practice (AORN, n.d.). The journal is read throughout the world, and that will provide a platform to disseminate information and receive feedback from such readings if they choose to respond through the comment link.
By far, the American Nurses Association is the most popular nursing association globally and holds conferences every year. If given the opportunity, presenting the evidence-based proposal at such a magnificent conference would be a privileged opportunity to reach out to professionals and receive feedback from them regarding the EBP. Such criticisms can be inculcated into the future proposal.
