The article depicts positive impact of constitution amendment that favored the presidential election in a great way. The amendment proposed that the congress should be mandated with powers to oversee states legislation. Initially, in the old system, a voter would cast two electoral votes making it hardtop determine votes for president and the vice president. In the new law, the president had the power to appoint the deputy president, and there’re after they would be voted I with a majority vote. Importantly, federal courts could not hear a single case that related to the presidential election, it was only limited and reserve to Supreme.

Alder describes events of placing constitution as a legislation tool that determines the ways and forms in which electors were chosen. As depicted in the text, each state’s number of electors is equal to the combined types of membership. This was to be done by both houses, i.e., senate and the home of Representatives. Besides, the twenty-third amendment of the constitution provided a ratified provision of Columbia district. Consequently, population growth and sustainable development improved in the region. The other approach was to use a system of election process where the president was to be voted in by the majority.

Eliot gives a concise picture of the first design approach that reviews the purpose of having a functional electoral system. The article discusses forms of constitution based on phases. In this case, candidate selected was to hold accountable and viable after counting the nomination. Structures of election and the final decision of determining the winner are expected to perform their job without fear favor or contraction of state regulation and policies.
