The management information system brings many benefits that can be used effectively in any organization to reduce time, cost and errors in quality processing. It helps us to run our business very efficiently by finding solutions to problems through customer-integrated processes.
Business organizations use information systems at various stages for business management, data processing and data storage. Data is distributed and processed in the form of information needed to manage the day-to-day operations of the business. Let every person affiliated with an organization be a customer who pays bills to key decision makers and uses information systems in any form.
Anyone can use information systems to store data in databases, for example: a car dealer can use a database system to track flights, a librarian keeps a record of books, and so on. Retailers can use the information system to sell their product online through the web. Portal. Every business needs to be driven by information technology to compete and thrive with other businesses. The term “knowledge management” is often confusing, not only because it lacks a generally accepted definition, but also because it is difficult to understand what it is. “Knowledge.” The difference between quiet and clear knowledge can be seen in working together as a person I know and as a group of people we know. In the context of knowledge management, it should be understood that knowledge is more than just practical knowledge. It includes terms and values, attitudes and attitudes, intuition and emotions, experiences and skills, as well as expectations and intentions. They represent our identity and personalities that guide and determine our personality and group behavior. Thus, there is a close relationship between cognitive management and the organizational culture of management. Another useful distinction is the concept and knowledge of knowledge as an object.
Knowledge as a concept (in the broadest sense described in the previous paragraph) refers to a starting point for an organization’s discussions, helping to create and develop organizational structure, the environment, internal and external relationships, and to find new avenues of innovative products and services. Knowledge as an object refers to a specific type of knowledge (knowledge, not emotion). It can be described, expressed, classified, stored, processed, distributed and so on. Based on this distinction, two types of knowledge management can be distinguished: management (and its importance to the organization) based on the concept of knowledge and management knowledge as a goal (as well as systems, programs, etc.). The most important thing here is how we handle and support this publishing process. There are two types of data management.

With each passing day, there has been substantial growth in the technology due to which the Information Systems used in Organizations are continuously improving. The current nature of most of the industries today is dynamic and demands flexibility with the change in needs. Managing the Data is extremely crucial as most of the Decisions taken in the Organizations are data driven and Decisions are made based on the predictive analysis done using such Information Systems and Decision Support Systems. Decisions are made taking into consideration the risks and the threats that may occur to the system. Information Systems help in a great deal as they can monitor any changes in the system and can transform data which can be further used for Decision Making. (Ada, Ş., & Ghaffarzadeh, M. ,2015)
Most of the Enterprises these days need more information as they endlessly strive to reduce the cost and delivery time. Information Systems are used strategically while supporting the strategies and goals of the Organization. Information Systems helps administers the data transmission and storage as well as data analysis. It helps in selecting the appropriate method to fix the issues after the review process. It ensures that all the managers access the detailed reports and information which further helps them in the Decision Making. ( Uçaktürk, A., & Villard, M., 2013)
This course has helped me in exploring different streams of Information Systems. Since I work as a Database Developer, my day to day work revolves playing around data and its manipulations. My job involves extensive analysis of data and its processing based on the type of data. As we maintain HR data, part of my job role involves creating data visualization dashboards in Power BI generating different trends and charts which helps to gain business insights and adds to the team. Data visualization dashboards helps to take major business decisions because of the predictive analysis. I was a part of group when we developed risk mitigation plan for our project as a part of contingency process. This Coursework covered most of the job I do at work and helped me gain clarity over the concepts in depth and details which I could apply in the practical world. I would apply the knowledge I gained by implementing it in my daily chores as it will improve my productivity and obtain output in less processing time.
