A marketing strategy refers to a business’s overall game plan for reaching prospective consumers and turning them into customers of the products or services the business provides. A marketing strategy contains the company’s value proposition, key brand messaging, data on target customer demographics, and other high-level elements. Whereas an organizational strategy is a plan that specifies how a business will allocate resources (e.g., money, labor, and inventory) to support infrastructure, production, marketing, inventory, and other business activities. It divide it into three distinct categories: Corporate level strategy, Business level strategy, Functional level strategy.

Many businesses aim to put together an organizational strategy, but without paying attention to the best practices surrounding it. Here are some common reasons why organizational strategies fail:
· Lack of understanding of individual, team, and organization capabilities
· Insufficient resources and assets to execute the strategy
· Inadequate time allocation to the tasks involved
· Poor financing decisions (failure to appreciate cash-flow needs or under-budgeting)

Insufficient control and project planning
On the basis of a well-planned and properly executed organizational strategy, an optimal marketing strategy can be made. Therefore, it is imperative that a solid foundation, that is an organizational strategy is built on which the pillars of success of a business, the marketing strategies can be constructed.

Leaders need to keep their promises and stand on their words. They should respect others and be fair in their decisions and judgments. Leaders become role models for their followers and they need to maintain a good attitude in the workplace to influence their followers. The leaders need to encourage their employees to innovate new things. Innovating thinking must be developed within the employees by giving them training. The leaders need to support them in their innovations and encourage them to take risks. The leaders need to teach employees instead of ordering them. This will help employees to learn and grow in their careers at the same time contribute to the organization’s goals.
