Let’s consider a case about the employees in the office. I was observing a group of employees in an office. Their boss was not in office and was on leave and they were having a very fun time. They were laughing, sharing incidents and jokes talking to each other. They were very relaxed which can be seen by the loudness of their discussion and laughter. I have also seen them working seriously when their boss was around. Another thing is they were maintaining a very low profile when their boss was in the office.
Looking at their body language we can say that they were close with each other. They discussed among themselves on various things and their discussion were mostly some funny incidents which made everyone burst out louder laughing. There were few people who were trying to calm them down but he also started laughing after listening to their discussions. There were few people who were working at their respective work places despite the loud laughter they didn’t even complain these people to calm down. They let them be themselves. With their body language and their behavior, we can see that they were concerned about the work and not the discussion. They were very close and the way they were talking or making fun of each other was communicating how free they were with each other. This was being communicated to other who look at them.
Conclusion:
Nonverbal communication plays a key role in demonstrating or portraying their intentions. In this scenario we have seen two different kinds of people who were enjoying and the others who were working at their places and never participated in the discussion. This was communicated with their body language which is a Nonverbal way of communication.
