ROBERT:
When I think of rhectoric I reference back to the 2016 presidential debates. At the time, while Trump was running for office him and the former first lady Hillary Clinton had a nasty debate. President Trump called her names and alluded that she is crooked and not trust worthy. Trump claims she had used her personal emails rather than the State Departments email accounts to conduct certain orders of business. I have to admit it seems that former President Trump good at the art of manipulation to some degree. Thus, he became the victor of the 2016 presidential election. The art of kairos played in his favor.
I use rhetoric at times to get over on an argument, in fact we all utilize this practice/art at one point or the other to get our point conveyed. We use this method to get people to see things our way.
(By the way this is part of my paper.)
