I have attached a gist of what I want included in my college essay. the essay should be 600-800 words long with no spelling or grammatical errors. It is gonna be my official college essay so make sure to make as professional and formal as possible with a hint of personal touch to it.

I belong from a very simple and sober family. My father’s name is Sanjay and my mother’s name is Minal and my elder sister’s name is Nirali. I was born in Farmington, USA but was brought up in India as my grandfather had just died and there was no one in the family left to take over the family business other than my father. I did my pre school and middle school in Anand, India. Then my parents and I decided that I should do my high school in USA so, I moved to states by myself and lived with family friends. I completed my 9th at Farmington High School and 10th grade at Winter Haven High School with satisfactory grades, but the living situation was not very healthy and the environment was not good for a growing teenager and I couldn’t live by myself either as I was an underage so there was no other option but to return back to India and finish my high school. This experience has changed my perspective towards difference among people and made me adaptive to change. I got to truly understand people from different cultural backgrounds and learn to accept the perfections of people alongside their faults as you make friends. Coming back home and living with parents felt nice but I always saw myself going to a college in USA just like my sister. My sister Nirali is about to finish health care administration from Florida. She moved to states after she completed high school to follow her dreams and go to her choice of university. Ever since she went I knew I was going to follow her footsteps and be as dedicated as her towards my studies.

Besides academics, I would like to talk about my innate interest in sports. I have had the opportunity to play sports like football, soft ball at district level and tennis at national level. I have been playing tennis since I was 5 years old. I’ve played many matches on state level in high school and experience, success, and failures led me to national level. I wanted to pursue in tennis but due to circumstances I had to give up playing tennis. In 2013, we discovered that I have an extra bone in my both feet. I couldn’t run or walk after several hours of training and no doctor could help either so the only choice left was to give up tennis. I was also an active part of the Habitat based in Florida which concentrated primarily on animal welfare. Over there we feed and clean dogs and cats, also helped in paper work for adoptions. I am not very fond of cats, I am a dog person but there were no favorites to choose. Volunteering with animals really taught me how to stay calm in very stressful situation and most important was to be patient because cleaning cats was an exhausting job. I’ve also volunteered as an assistant manager at Hotel Welcome located in Vadodara, India. It really helped me understand how management is done. I gained good people skills and leadership skills by working under the manager. Volunteering at a hotel helped me understand that in business ‘customer is the king,’ I learned that customer service is most important and needed skill in business. My fascination for business grew when I participated in FBLA (future business leaders of America) in 10th grade when I was in Florida and also went on state level. Living with friends in a hotel was fun but more than that looking at potential competitors winning and knowing everything about being a businessman motivated me to pursue my dreams. Being a great businesswomen is the role I intend to play in my future career.

My father is a successful businessman and watching him grow his business immensely was such a motivation to be just like him. I can proudly say he is a role model for me. I am so lean on discovering the border perspective in the business world. This course would definitely help me in acquiring managerial skills as well as will strengthen the decision making power from business perspective. Also, the degree holds accountable of so many opportunities in almost every sector, from banking to industries. Moreover the core subjects of this course such as Principles of Management, Statistics, Operational Research, Business Mathematics will immensely help in this cut-throat competitive world. Everyone is aware of the fact that world’s top universities are located in USA itself.
