Stem Cell Research: An Annotated Bibliography
“Stem Cell Information.” Stemcell.nih.gov. US Department of Health and Human Services, 15
April 2019, https://stemcells.nih.gov/info/basics/1.htm.
This is the annotation of the above source, which is formatted according to MLA format guidelines for the bibliographic information listed above. To begin the annotation for this source, offer a brief summary of what this book says about stem cell research. The length of the annotation will depend on the assignment or on the purpose. Since the research paper is four pages long, a good annotation should be done for each source. . If the source is a book, only focus on the sections that relate to the topic. The more information that is acquired and documented, the research paper easier to write. Make sure the sources are in alphabetical order on the annotated bibliography. Remember to write the annotated bibliography in third person
After a brief summary, it would be appropriate to assess this source and offer some criticisms of it. Does it seem like a reliable and current source? Why? Is the research biased or objective? Are the facts well documented? Who is the author? Is she qualified in this subject? Is this source scholarly, popular, some of both? After summarizing and assessing, reflect on the source. How does it fit into the research? Is this a helpful resource?
Is it too scholarly or not scholarly enough? Is it too general or specific?
