Their input is crucial for improving service delivery and meeting mission objectives. The purpose of this assignment is to examine the impact of the senior executive’s vision on the workforce.

While serving as a division director within the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), you were tasked with briefing the senior executive team regarding the impact of the newly developed strategic plan. The new strategic plan proposes a decrease in the annual appropriation for HUD’s Homelessness Assistance Program. The residual funding would then be transitioned to HUD’s Disaster Assistance Program. Your team recommends no changes to the Homelessness Assistance Program due to the direct impacts on individuals who are homeless. For this assignment, you will prepare a PowerPoint presentation designed to convince the senior executive team why there should be no funding degree to the homeless program.

Ensure that your PowerPoint presentation addresses the following:

1. Compile data on the current state of the Homelessness Assistance Program.

2. Produce evidence of the Homelessness Assistance Program’s benefits to the individuals who are homeless.

3. Reconstruct a plan to keep the Homelessness Assistant Program funding by projecting potential long-term benefits of the program.

4. Organize a plan for a periodic briefing of the Homelessness Assistance Program to the executive team.

Length:  8-10 slides, not including title and reference slides.
