Today’s global, multigenerational workforce necessitates reconsideration of what diversity means in the workplace as well as what impact it has. Most organizations view diversity overall as a strategic benefit, but often recognize that there are some inherent issues when individuals with quite dissimilar backgrounds, cultural experiences, education, values, and goals must work together to further the objectives of the organization.
