SM110 Communications for Sales: Project 7
Project Description:
Prospecting is the act of recruiting or seeking out new customers for a business and is a common role of a salesperson. Successful prospecting will increase a company’s customer base and create new revenue. The goal of prospecting is to generate leads, which are people or businesses who may eventually become customers.
For Project 7, imagine you are a salesperson for Case Paper Company (casepaper.com) and your manager has asked you to find new leads.
Using the internet, find 20 prospects who can benefit from your product and services. For each prospect, list the name of the company, their address and what products might be of interest to them. Also write a brief sentence on why you feel this company is a viable lead.
For a list of products Case Paper sells, refer to:
http://www.casepaper.com/products/commercial/
For example:
Sir Speedy, 76 Batterymarch St Ste 1, Boston, MA 02110
Per their website, Sir Speedy offers printing on #50 offset, a product that Case Paper stocks.
Submit your list of 20 prospects to Project 7 in Moodle.
