Question 1

We are opening a joint venture, Dabha’s Fast Food.  We will only accept cash payments.  We’ll occasionally offer coupons in a local trade flyer. Since we are savvy AIS students, let’s identify and discuss the key control issues.

a)  Discuss the risks for payroll fraud in a payroll system example.

b)  What controls would you implement to reduce payroll fraud risks?

To make these risks a bit more real, choose a risk and give an example of how Change management. either from your real-world experience, or from a hypothetical that you create based on your understanding of financial processes that we’ve reviewed in class.
