These questions was not answered?

· What might be a subject about another culture you would like to research?

· What might your hypothesis be?

Other kinds of questions that one would want to research on would-be subjects like what is interesting about the culture that one is interested in?. The hypothesis of the same would be therefore we can say that in the culture that the paper will look at is that the culture finds it rude when someone is straightforward and direct when someone talks to another person. There are many research methods that one can use in collecting information to justify a hypothesis these methods differ in terms of data collection, some include, observation, experimental, simulation or derived. The best method however to use in this research would be the observation, one would observe how people talk to their peers in that culture and see if the hypothesis is true by just observing and recording the observations. However, some issues and problems might occur, these may include language barrier, one wouldn’t know how people talk if they do not understand their language, people also may tend to behave differently if they are observed and therefore accurate results may not be achieved.

Theis question was not answered properly?

· How might bias affect the research and/or the results of your research?  Use a minimum of
2 examples
of what bias might you have to consider.

Being bias will always one to be prescriptive and not be opened to observe a thing that could have been observed if one was open-minded some of the biases that one might have to consider include similarity bias and confirmation bias. Similarity bias may make one consider only one part of the culture that mostly demonstrate the hypothesis that the researcher is looking at and forget about the other part. On the other hand, confirmation bias might make one only consider the information that confirms his or her hypothesis and ignore the information that is contrary to the same. For example, in this case, things like demographic characteristics e.g. religion, and ethnicity can be made to be as the predictive variables, some of the challenges being faced by researchers include limited time and too much stress on producing results, funding also is a problem and also showing ones work is also a problem and therefore this should be put in place as rules for this to work.

Part 2

· Based on the above article, what were Joseph Herrick’s findings in his 2010 study?

This questions was not answered correctly, need to be based on the article above?

Joseph Herrick discovered that human beings are in many ways similar since the same do share the same kind of psychology and we all do have the universal basic needs. Therefore culture is truly affected by the psyche of the people who possess the same e.g. cognition, personality and perception and this has been proven overtime now (Triandis & Suh 2017). His findings, therefore, threw questions on cultural studies in that questions like how would one describe oneself? Would one use personal characteristic in answering the above question or use the social relationships that one has? This has been asked because of the thinking that one’s definition of oneself is based on cultural bounds.

Part 3

Review Part 1 in regard to the hypothesis you choose and the Part 2 article, how might the information from Part 2 influence your selected study? Would you change anything?  What might you keep?

The answers need to be specific and stick to the questions.

The information in part two, therefore, affects the hypothesis in part one since the question on behavior is basically and based on the culture that one comes in and therefore to know for sure why one behaves how they behave one has first to understand the cultural bounds of the culture at hand that includes personality description and general culture-bound, therefore changing the hypothesis to deeply looking at this will bring a more and broader understanding of the same.
