Title of Personal Essay
This is where you will begin to type your personal essay. Personal essays should include a title/cover page. The beginning or introduction to the personal essay should begin on page 2. The personal essay should, when completed, be 3-5 pages of double-spaced text. As a reminder, the title/cover page does NOT count towards the total page count. As a courtesy, your instructors have formatted these requirements into this template for you to use.
To use this template, you need to make a copy! To do so:

Before submitting your paper, be sure to carefully proofread your assignment. We recommend slowly reading your paper OUT LOUD to someone else. Another common way is finding a partner and switching papers to check each other’s work. It would be best to do both. Please make sure to indent each of your paragraphs. For more information about what to write in your paper, please see the personal essay grading rubric. As a reminder,
please make sure to delete this text before submitting your personal essay on Canvas
