It allows the chance to run production parallel with the main datacenter. Cold sites are office or production center spaces that lack the fixing of server-related equipment. A cold site usually has necessary utilities like power, cooling systems, and communication tools. Cold sites are cost-effective to set up and still perform the same tasks as a hot site, albeit they take time to set up. Lastly, warm sites have features from both the hot spots and cold spots. A warm site provides office space and also contains pre-installed hardware.
