Changing Lanes

The video focuses on the lives of Tara and chad, who are a couple who decided to leave their normal household lives to live in an RV and travel across the United States and Canada on a full-time basis. In the year 2016, Chad came up with the whole idea of living and traveling in an RV and gained huge support from his wife, considering that she had been battling various diseases at home for approximately four years. They did a lot of research on how to achieve this goal, considering they knew nothing concerning the RV and the lifestyle they were about to get themselves into. For instance, they visited various RV dealers in different locations, such as Ohio, who gave them a wider perspective on the market’s best RV models. Within one year, they had learned much about the type of RV they needed, for instance, an RV with a king size bed, wash and drier. They managed to sell their entire household goods and properties and relocated or started their new lifestyle. According to the couple, living in the RV and traveling across the country has been a great learning experience that has taught them a lot through the numerous challenges that they encounter.

What They Are Selling

As the couple researched RV and the RV life, they came across many YouTube channels that gave them the idea of creating their channel. The main idea was to document and share their entire adventures with people, RV lifestyle, visits, motorcycle rides across the country. This has significantly helped to impact a lot of people through various ways as; first, it has enabled them to interact and share ideas with other people across the country who love adventure. Secondly, they have helped to create a positive image or perspective concerning RV life and motorcycle travels. In general, the main idea behind all the visits and documentations they make is to popularize or market various tourist attraction sites and the general beauty of the places they visited. Their focus is mainly to entice more people to vast these places or explore the nation’s beauty and encourage all people who love adventure to interact, meet and share different ideas on their adventures. The couple also intends to form or attract a community of the RV and motorcycle enthuses with whom they can share different ideas and perspectives on various cool rides to go on or how to improve their RV structures.

Initial Thoughts

After reviewing the video, my initial thoughts were that the couple was making a terrible mistake by giving up their entire life to move into an RV and make numerous trips across the globe. Based on my opinion, I thought that it would have been wise for them not to sell their properties in exchange for the RV life. I had the perception that living in an RV would diminish their status within the society and also make them reluctant since they will not have much expenses to cater for. However, after reviewing the entire video, I have realized that the couple made a very good decision, considering that they took much of their time to make proper plans on how they will accomplish their intended goal.
