China
’s economy has consistently grown at an average annual rate of 9.63% since 1989 and shows no signs of slowing down. The impressive GDP growth is directly tied to solid consumption, exports and property investment which makes China a viable market for our language translation software. The Chinese economy is dependent on international trade and exports which makes it the most attractive market for the language translation software. Eliminating the language barrier in business will greatly promote trade and cement the country’s position as a global commercial center. With Mandarin standing as the most spoken language with approximately 1.2 billion native speakers, the Chinese market offers an opportunity for Snyder software to make assert itself within the language translation industry in China.
I also considered China an attractive market considering the government’s support for more Chinese to learn other languages, particularly English. This has been evident with more language programs in learning institutions, which present a market opportunity for Snyder Software. The ease of the ‘one-child policy’ also guarantees a larger target audience for the product as the population consistently increases. With China’s stand in the global economy, having a distributor of the Snyder software in the country will ensure the company expands its market share and capitalizes on globalization by exploiting the Chinese market.

With its headquarters in China, Asia-World Connect has a reputation of providing exquisite software solutions for both local and international clients. With an extensive networking platform within the Asian market, the company will provide a productive partnership with Snyder Software and ultimately usher expansion into the wider Asian market.
Understanding that China is a country of rich culture and traditions, I was keen to learn the cultural factors that govern business communication (Cimasko, 2011). The formats of business letters in China is similar to salutations and three distinct paragraphs. The fax number and letterhead are important components of a business letter (Boraks, 2007). According to International Business Etiquette (2018), formal communication in China should include formal titles and appointments are critical for business. The decision-making process is also slow with Chinese businessmen often requiring time to consult the stars and waiting for a lucky day to make a business decision. Considering the basics of business writing in China, I will be polite in the business letter and state my intention to visit the country by scheduling an appointment.
