Imagining a world that is just, fair, and provides equal opportunity for all, irrespective of their background is an exciting affair yet a very scary one especially when one thinks of the glaring discrepancies that exist in the world currently (Stiglitz,

17). children are the weakest people in the society since they can hardly survive without their parents and guardian and if the world is not fair to their parents? How do you think the world treats them? Children are faced with a myriad of challenges in the world; lack of adequate food, shelter, education, and medical supplies. However, how hard the world is for some people, it needs a concerted effort from everyone for a better world to be realized. I come from a suburban setting and in as much as there Is a difference in the development levels between the suburban areas and most urban centers or cities, my area still lags when it comes to education and accessing the learning materials or centers (McGreal, 2017). The area has a population of about 10,000 families and a population of school-going children of about 2000, that is between the age of 7 to 16 as per the latest population data. however, surprisingly the area lacks a public community library and most students are forced to rely on their school libraries which cannot be accessed on weekends and they are not adequately resourced and staffed.
My entrepreneurial venture is tied to the above need and the conception of PUPILS’ PUBLIC LIBRARY was in respect to trying to bridge this glaring gap within my community. Pupils’ Public Library represents a private library that I started within my community that sought to provide access and unlimited learning experience to students within my community. The setting of the library is modernized with computers and large and conducive learning spaces. We have also strived to avail the internet and computers to provide variety in research and learning. we are currently on the last week before we launch the library and as shown in the below timeline schedule we are tirelessly running against time to beat our deadline. However, much of the work is currently done and we just finalizing the finishing touches.

The viability of my business venture is supported by the fact that there is no single such kind of business within the identified location. There is also a shortage of materials and support staff in the school library and the fact that it is always closed on weekends gives us a better chance of thriving. Membership funds and access fees will also be affordable to the parents and self-sponsored students.
