Running Head; Success. 1
My public figure may not be well known but is an influence in the youtube community. Her name is Kristin Johns; she talks about her inspirational habits and gives motivational advice to help anyone out there listening to strive for success. I think she defines success as being able to improve if at least one persons quality of life on a daily basis. Whether it would be through exercise, eating habits, or taking the time to center ones self. She brings a positive and motivational impression to me which is very inspiring. Success to me is about being happy and coming to terms with yourself and attending a job that you enjoy. My main goal is to be happy with myself and impacting other people that makes them feel inspired to pursue what they are passionate about. In the book Career Choices and Changes, Ben Sweetland stated “Success is a journey, not a destination.” (page 18) I agree that success is not a destination. You will have obstacles to deal with a work with but it gets you one step closer to where you want to be and who you want to be. My definition of success compared to Kristin Johns definition is similar but we each go through trials and tribulations and are faced with obstacles that can impact any decision we make.
Success.
I agree with the first post. Though “success” is a word that is more than action has been described over and over by different people. Every positive impact in human life as well as achievement results in success. Happiness and confidence are brought by success. Furthermore, success is never earned but achieved by being industrious in the very small things you are doing. In conclusion, everybody can achieve the best standard of life and live with joy.

My favorite public personality or well known person would have to be Marilyn Monroe. I would say Marilyn Monroe would define success and being wealthy, living rich or luxurious, being known, living your dreams, and doing what you love most without a care in the world. Personally I would describe success as having a well paid job with many benefits, living the life I dream of, living in a nice home with a family full of happiness, and to be something great in life. There are differences in me and her of course, I believe Marilyn lived a fun and selfish life and I picture myself living a more serious life and getting the things done in order to make it to where I want to be.
Success.
I agree with the second post. Success is not mostly determined by how rich one is or how famous one may be. If one can bring or cause a positive impact to his friend, neighbor, or anybody, therefore this will lead to success. If one accepts the smallest step in his life like his habit, then he will continue advancing to the highest level. Moreover, there is no single or specific way to succeed. Different concepts work for different people. In conclusion, if one builds his or her mindset and ensures an emotional intelligence improvement, life is likely to be successful.
