Answer:
1) Workers has a significant role in a workplace, they provide quality service in exchange of a good salary. If workers would be given a chance to take over the inspection for their own work, basically they will develop different abilities and skills such as Independence, Courage, Accountability and Decision-Making Skills. There will be less stress and pressure as they are the one who manipulates the inspection for their own work. Giving them the full responsibility to decide and control their own work enhances their critical thinking skills since they are making their own techniques and strategies as to how they will fulfill their own set goals and tasks at their own pace. However, granting them the liberty to do it on their own might have cause to less interaction to other workers because there will be little to no collaboration at all since, they provide their own goals that they need to achieve by themselves. It could possibly create more stumbling block than the usual.
2)
A. Exponential smoothing and Moving average are quite similar since they can be interpreted in the same sense and are frequently used. Moreover, moving average and Weighted moving average are quite different from each other whereas, moving average can only be calculated after every transaction while, weighted moving average can only be calculated for all purchases on a specific time given. However, the advantages of Exponential smoothing over these two are; It is the most basic and very easy to learn, it provides accuracy to the forecast, also it gives more substance to current observations.
B. Aggregate planning strategy is a step-by-step process of developing and analyzing the overall operations of a specific organization. It is basically composed of three levels of strategies namely, Level Strategy which maintains the production rate and the level of workforce, Chase Strategy on the other hand focuses more on the demand with production, Lastly Hybrid Strategy which balances between level strategy and chase strategy.
