- If you have not done so, review the devotional 6.1. Create a life purpose statement that summarizes what is your purpose in life. This statement may be a passage of scripture, a quote from some philosopher or poet, or your own statement.
- Download the Sample Personal Development Plan file and follow the format of the sample when you create your own personal development plan for this assignment.
- In the Professional section of the document, answer the following questions:
Identify the desired job or occupation you want to hold in five years.
Determine three milestones and a timeline that moves you from your present occupation or job to your desired job. In those milestones, be sure to address or build upon any strength and correct any weaknesses you previously identified. - In the Personal section of the document, answer the following questions:
Identify three personal goals you want to achieve within the next five years; these goals may involve your relationships, physical being or health, education, hobbies or recreational activities, and/or personal characteristics.
Determine for each goal, three milestones and a timeline that moves you from where you are today to achieving your goal. - In the Spiritual section of the document, answer the following questions:
Identify three goals you want to achieve in five years dealing with your character and/or spiritual life.
Determine for each goal, at least three milestones and a timeline that moves you from your character and spiritual life today to where you want to be in five years. - In the World Changer section of the document, answer the following questions:
Identify three ways in which you can become a world changer over the next five years.
Determine for each way, at least three milestones and a timeline that moves you from where you are today to where you want to be in five years. - How do your goals help you fulfill your life purpose statement?
- Be sure to use correct spelling, grammar, and APA format. The overall plan should be at least 1,000 words in length.
- Upload your PDP in the form of a Word document to your instructor using the Assignment submission page by the end of the workshop.
