Hi Casey,
First of all, do not panic when you read this.
Your assignment was flagged by our similarity report, but after I looked through
the report it really seems like more of a citing and APA issue. As you can see by
the report (attached) most of what is highlighted just needs to be in quotes (with
proper citation – including exact page where the quote is found) or put into your
own words (paraphrased) with a citation as you have currently applied.
Although the system will say this is a zero, it is not. Within your post, pasted
below, I put in yellow highlight the areas to which I refer. Please correct these
items and resubmit no later than 12:00 Noon, CST on Monday, January 27,
2020. Email me when you upload it. I will “re-grade” it then. Be very purposeful in
looking at each area that is highlighted (except for the references – which is normal
to be highlighted by the system). Make the corrections and resubmit. Let me know
if you have questions and again, please do not panic.
The Academic Honesty and Plagiarism Overview will be of great help. It
explains what plagiarism is and is attached to my faculty expectations
announcement. If you want another copy, let me know and I’ll send it to you.
Sincerely,

Hello,
I am choosing the topic ” PTSD”. PTSD is a mental health condition that’s
triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms
may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable
thoughts about the event. PTSD is considered [Used the words or ideas of others

PTSD needs an in-depth research study because the percentage of people being
diagnosed with PTSD is increasing and is expected to continue to grow; which
means it isn’t predicted to decrease any time soon
