United Kingdom
They have worked on their energy usage on a high level due to the policy of energy they have adopted. 20% of the energy would come from renewable sources by 2020 according to latest reseach (“Energy Innovation: Policy and Technology – Energy Innovation”, 2020).
The policy of energy in the UK has a long-term goal which has been to reduce the amount of emissions of Carbon dioxide gases in order to conserve energy and maintain a toxicity-free environment because the energy resources have been very limited and they’ll be reducing with the passage of time (Heald, 1981). So it minimizes the policy record and in order to achieve this objective.
All in all, the energy policy is the successful one in the UK governmental state and they also encourage hybrid vehicles and the use of ethanol fuel which has the long-term effects to consume the transport fuel.

Germany
Germany
The government of Germany has many goals and has already planned to revolutionize the system of their national energy and there are being progressions made up till now as of 2014 (Röhling & Mohnfeld, 1985). Their motives were not very strong before the year of 2010, but after September 2010, Germans started taking the energy consumption and reduction seriously while taking into consideration that it has vast effects.
This transformation took place on a very huge level and it was given the name of Energiewende. The nuclear reactors were also prepared and the greenhouse gas consumption lessened to a degree of 80% to 95% expectedly (Doshi, 2020).
