Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–600 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.

IT professionals and managers need to have a good understanding of the business or organization for which they work. This is important for several reasons, including the following:

· It allows the CISO or cybersecurity manager to understand the business’s mission and vision.

· It allows the CISO or cybersecurity manager to understand how his or her department contributes to the overall success of the business.

· It allows the CISO or cybersecurity manager to be able to communicate how his or her contributions provide capabilities to the other business units.

· It allows the CISO or cybersecurity manager to communicate to his or her employees how their job activities align to the organization.

In your primary Discussion Board post, explain the relationships that a CISO or cybersecurity manager would need to have with others to be successful. Identify methods for effectively communicating with these groups, keeping in mind that the intended audience may not be familiar with technical terms that are common between IT personnel. Topics may need to be translated into business terms such as risk, opportunities, and business continuity. You should focus on the following areas:
